The Truths series has been put on hold for a little bit. I’ve decided to make some tiny changes and will be reworking Whispered Truths to make it less erotic and more YA. I hope to re-release Whispered Truths in Sept 2018 with Discovered Truths the following month. The remaining books in the series will be released in 2019.
We met at the age of eight. That day on the playground was a turning point in my life.
Her life wasn’t easy. Mine was a cake walk.
She was a good girl. I was a troublemaker.
She was everything and without her I was nothing. I knew it the first time I saw her, and I still know it now.
She wanted me to live my dreams, and I wanted the same for her.
Ten years later, we’re still living separate lives—seeing one another when we can,
which wasn’t often with her living in New York City and me in LA.
I know my lifestyle has never been one she can handle—the fans, the media, there is no privacy or peace—but I can’t be without her anymore.
I need her.
She’s the love of my life and when I asked her to come to me last Christmas, she said yes. I’ve been waiting for her, and now she’s here. My heart is finally whole.
But not everything is about me.
She’s giving up her life there to merge it with mine here.
She’s giving up her privacy.
She’s giving up her anonymity.
She’s giving me everything.
I’m going to give her everything of me in return. But will our love be enough? Can the good in our lives overshadow the bad? Or will all the obstacles we’ve so carefully avoided break us completely?
I was born and raised in Wisconsin and still live here today.
I’m an avid reader who gets inspired by reading the stories from my favorite authors as well as listening to various types of music. I am a huge fan of music, chocolate, fruit, desserts, autumn, M. Shadows, Avenged Sevenfold, and Milo Ventimiglia. Through my books, I am proudly creating new Avenged Sevenfold and Milo Ventimiglia fans one reader at a time.
“The best part of being an author, to me, is being able to take the reader to that one place they long to go when they need to escape reality. Knowing I can do that, for even one reader, makes what I do worthwhile.” ~ Anne Mercier
Would you like a chance to hang out with a Rockstar? How about one of the most adored Rockstars–Xander Mackenzie. I’m taking part in the Between The Sheets: A Book Boyfriend anthology—writing JAMMING WITH XAN, Rockstar #9.1… it’ll be one of the eighteen short stories.
In Jamming with Xan, YOU, the reader, will get a chance to hang out and jam with Xan the Man! All you have to do to be entered in a chance to jam with Xan, is fill out this form! Simple, right?
I’ll pick a winner when the time is right BUT I won’t be announcing who that winner is. You’ll have to wait and see when you read it!
My grandmother fell ill a few weeks ago and passed away last week. Due to this, I’m going to bump Harmony back a little bit to be published in 2017… so the next book up will be A Very Xander Christmas 3 (Rockstar Book 8). It’s scheduled for December 18, but I’m hoping to get it out to you sooner and then get started on Xander’s book (Rockstar Book 9).
Kadence, Rockstar #7
REVIEW (and what a review it is!!!)
Stacey, Books N Boys
There isn’t a book of Anne Mercier’s that I haven’t read and when we received the chance to review it for the blog I fought my way to the front to get my hands on it.
I have been eagerly anticipating the release of Kadence, because I knew this one was going to pull on the heartstrings and I wanted to see if it had the same pull, as her other books.
WoW! What a ride this one took me on.
Poor Jace Warner has no idea what he is in for when he receives an urgent message from his high school sweetheart. Not only is the girl he loved dying but he also finds out he has a daughter – a six year old daughter.
What I loved about this particular story was the way Anne laid it all out for us. We were drawn into their lives in a way I have never encountered before in a book, and it made it so much better. It gave you a front row seat and forced you to feel every emotion her characters did.
It was a book I couldn’t put down, because I wanted to know how Jace would cope with being an instant father and how he would manage having a child and being a rock star. What also grabbed me was how Anne defined the relationship Jace had with his childhood sweetheart Sydney, and the emotional roller coaster he put himself through trying to justify how he felt for Summer.
A beautiful story, with a beautiful ending and one of my personal favorites from Anne’s collection.
For me this is a five star read.
